In The Garden

Morning lovely Crafters. It's a beautiful start here in Yorkshire and once I've finished catching up with the Blogging World I'm off out to cut the grass before it changes (the weather not the grass you understand)!!!

Before I do though I noticed on my travels that the TIOT Ladies have the theme of Wonders of Watercolour this week. It's ages since I managed to enter one of their challenges and I've just made a card that fits this beautifully. Thank you Michelle for jogging my memory with your lovely DT project.

Bet you can't think why I love this beautiful Impression Obsession stamp? It's been stamped in Vintage Photo distress ink and then watercoloured with Crushed Olive and Scattered Straw just to highlight the sunflowers and plants slightly.

The challenge is being sponsored by One Stop Cards this time so it's well worth a look.

Well, that grass calls so I'll say thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend whatever you are up too and have a lovely Mothering Sunday if you are here in the UK.

Oooooh Lisa - this is fabulous, and so "you"!! What a beautiful stamp, and the Distress Inks give it a gorgeous rustic
feel - all the elements you've used work perfectly together. LOVE it!

Hope you got the grass cut! Have a happy weekend - see you soon - hugs, Sylvia xx

Ooo I love this and I KNOW why you love this stamp! It's really gorgeous! And beautifully coloured of coarse. A wonderful card Lisa.
This week we have been very chilly under grey clouds and fog!!!..and now it's raining. Glad you have had some sunshine. My son phoned me yesterday from London and said we was sunbathing and it was 20 degrees!!!

It certainly is a gorgeous stamp, Lisa, and a beautiful card. Highlighting just some of the detail works so well. Love the rosette too.

Hi Lisa. It is good to be back. I have missed my blog friends but haven't been in the 'right place' for a while.I ordered a lawnmower for myelf yesterday as the tiny patches of grass that I have here have suddenly shot up. Must get that sorted soon. Have a lovely weekend in your garden. Love the card by the way - as ever - your creations are beautiful.
